What does it mean?
Membership in the Perinatal Mental Health Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador (PMHANL) means joining a rapidly growing network of organizations working together to foster positive change in perinatal mental health to help ensure that birth parents and families receive the best possible mental health care from the time pregnancy is considered to the infant’s first few years. PMHANL’s overall vision is to help foster an interconnected system of support for perinatal mental health services.
Is there a cost?
There are no set criteria for membership other than a commitment to our vision and no
fee for joining. Frequent opportunities are given to participate in other relevant events and workshops.
Who can join?
Membership is open to persons with lived experience, service providers in all sectors (health care, community, family resource centres, education, etc.) and individuals who want to make a difference.
